Reporting to the Director of Research for Global Thought Leadership and matrix-managed by the VP, Head of Global Occupier Thought Leadership, the Research Analyst will provide support in developing CBRE’s Global and EMEA occupier data and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database management
    - Collect, quality check and manage the content of multiple CBRE-owned, focused databases
    - Partner with local CBRE researchers and third-party vendors to collect data across the U.S., European and Global markets
  • Support broker requests
    - Provide/create data, slides, analysis
    - Find/share data/reports from other sources as requested 
  • Maintain and update shared resources folder to facilitate easier sharing of content
  • Support with written content and analysis in presentations 
  • Support writing of quarterly reports, MarketFlashes, major reports, Viewpoints, Trends, and other ad hoc publications
  • Track industry trends/news for incorporation into analysis, data collection, process improvement, presentations, etc
  • Attend applicable industry conferences, broker meetings, client meetings, etc. as directed
  • Other duties may be assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree ideally in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Urban Planning, Geography, or related field and a minimum of 12 months related work experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of interpreting and adding value to ad hoc requests from clients and the business
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to colleagues and clients
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Knowledge of financial and real estate terms and principles, economics of markets and search methods
  • Ability to critically assess merits/limitations of data sources and different analytical techniques
