CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Procurement Manager to join the team located in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective strategic and operational leadership for CBRE GWS Ireland and is required to ensure the delivery of financial targets, share and ensure the adopt of best practice, enhance the business standards of performance, whilst optimising cost effectiveness and resource efficiency.
The person appointed to the role will need to demonstrate strong communications skills, have commercial acumen and procurement expertise whilst possessing a flair for sales, being energetic and positive; being results orientated and focused is a must.
•Develop and implement CBRE GWS Ireland’s Supply Chain Local business strategy and plans, in close collaboration with subject matter experts, that results in meeting the business financial objectives, growth and retention strategies.
•Ensures that the supply chain is safe, sustainable and appropriately accredited and establish the appropriate mechanisms for continual risk management and performance improvement of the supply chain
•Responsible for the deployment and execution of the Local Preferred Supplier Programme across including the financial performance and YOY growth of the Working Capital Scheme in Ireland.
•To improve the Local Supply Chain value proposition for CBRE GWS Ireland to the market; whilst improving performance, delivering a better value supply chain and reducing risk to the business.
•Delivering targeted savings and performance improvement benefits and is accountable for the cost reduction and performance of the total supply chain solution in Ireland.
•You will be a part of the Supply Chain and Sourcing team for the country.
•You will be working alongside Contract Managers and Contract Support as well as representatives from Finance, HR, QHSE and Commercial.
•Build relationships with key customers to actively promote CBRE’s Supply Chain capability and to demonstrate the wider value of the CBRE business to drive increased new business and customer retention
•Be a part of development of contractual arrangements with preferred suppliers that are recognised for delivering best value and high-quality service delivery to CBRE and its customers
•Develop and maintain relationships internally and within preferred supplier organisations
•Be a part of Development and implementation of SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) strategies and plans with key suppliers that establish CBRE as a customer of choice in the market place and delivers value over and above what would normally be achieved
