CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team located in Cambridge. The successful candidate will carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown works to all mechanical and electrical systems within the site. Working with the on-site engineering team to deliver best in class customer service. Key responsibilities are as follows: • Conduct planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis and manage the corrective action and reports/quotations required • Support and facilitate technical sub-contractors during planned or reactive service visits and minor works while ensuring they confirm to the site procedures and agreed risk assessments & method statements • Responsibility of completion of Reactive works orders within their Service Level Agreements • Maintain plant rooms in a clean, tidy and safe condition • Provide rapid and effective response to customer and helpdesk requirements • Manage, rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to ensure SLA Timeframes are always met • Review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and sub-contractor competencies before work permits are authorised • Escalate any issue that would affect the availability, health and safety and security of the site • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements • Adhere to all current company policies and procedures and to take an active approach in continuous improvement of these procedures • To provide support to the wider CBRE Engineering Team in the event of an emergency call • To support in providing cost information for chargeable Electrical/Mechanical and Plumbing works on site • Attend training scheduled by the Management Team (E-Learning and role/site specific courses) • Provide regular hazard reporting for the site on a weekly basis Person Specification • Minimum requirement for C&G Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical or Other building systems discipline qualification • Experience of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria. • Good all-round knowledge of general building works, diagnostic and repair procedures • Working knowledge of building services systems/ maintenance schedules.
