The role is diverse, challenging and provides unique career and professional development opportunity. The Business Operations leader fulfills a key role in the Property Management business through:

Provide leadership and management on internal business operations
Development, education and implementation of standard operating procedures based on the Global Standards platform 
Support the Property Management Global Risk Program, ensuring standards in place
Manage Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) initiatives
Manage Procurement initiatives
Manage Internal Audit activities of managed properties
Support the Financial Control of the Property Management business
Collaborate with Shared Services in supporting the operations of the Property Management business

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with APAC Business Operations team to ensure the global initiatives effectively implemented to the Property Management business in Japan
Support APAC Business Operations team with compliance and risk management 
Implement Global Standards and effectively translate into the local business environment
Ensure training programs to be taken by all Property Management employees in Japan
Ensure BCP to be set up and regularly been updated at each property level
Manage all HSE initiatives for the Property Management business in Japan
Manage all procurement initiatives for the Property Management business in Japan
Implement best practices to drive the efficiency in the business platform
Support the budget preparation and forecast cycle in the business’s financial control 
Develop effective working relationships with Shared Services in order to leverage resources and to support corporate initiatives in compliance, training and risk management 
Support business leaders in demonstrating Property Management business operations capability in new business opportunities 
Build and maintain effective working relationships with all members of Property Management without compromising independence and integrity of business operations role 

Necessary Skills

Good communication and negotiation skill 
Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
Mature interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to build and maintain good relationships with internal clients
Self-Starter and Individual Contributor
Japanese native language with business level English 
Minimum Bachelor degree 
Property Manager background or Facility Manager background would be a plus
Licenses related to Real Estate, Finance, and others would be a plus
