Role Purpose

Work collaboratively within the Property & Asset Management business and the wider CBRE organisation to identify and secure incremental revenue streams with key clients within London.

Property & Asset Management is one of CBRE’s key service lines. Formerly known as Asset Services currently employs circa 600 people within the UK.

They enable their clients to focus on their core business by managing their real estate with total efficiency and with the aim of maximising its value. Their investment in both people and technology has created a state-of-the-art property management service, ironing out inefficiencies and adding value all the time.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Management:
Deliver BD turnover growth in line with an agreed Business plan 
Develop and support outbound enterprise sales opportunities that lead to pitches, engagement, relationship building & growth in the Enterprise pipeline that converts to incremental revenues
Liaise with the Asset Management and Sector Matter Experts in the identification of opportunities and the management of prospects in Central London
Collaborate with Pitch & marketing team to develop collateral and messaging
Build competitor intelligence, develop cross service line expertise and form strategic relationships
Deploy and monitor sales management processes to ensure consistent and efficient activity & pipeline reporting 
Client centric: ensure continuous improvement in experiences through development of best practice
Monitor lead generation, pipeline, win/loss information, negotiations and other KPI’s 

Market Figurehead:
Establish links and attend forums with other CBRE teams
Attendance and participation at industry events 
Build broad networks across CBRE and the property sector

Executing Strategy and Objectives:
Work with Asset Services ExCo in setting Business Development targets and objectives 
Assist on an annual BD Business Plan
Monitor and report on performance against the Business Plan regularly during the year
Oversee deployment of thought leadership within core accounts and targets
Monitor market trends, industry issues and competitive intelligence
Own and initiate key relationships in the market

Person Specification/Requirements

Strong track record of delivery in business development
Able to demonstrate strong area knowledge and expertise
Demonstrate ability to influence client’s decision making and strategy
Strong presentation and communication skills
Highly motivated to deliver innovation and change
Ability to collaborate across internal networks to drive client results
Self-starter
Commercially focussed, targeting development and impact aligned to business growth plan
Experience of using Salesforce CRM is preferred
